The Evaporator Fan Motor Kit is an OEM part compatible with GE refrigerators. It is a critical component responsible for circulating air and maintaining proper airflow within the refrigerator's evaporator system, ensuring efficient cooling and temperature regulation. It features a shaft that measures 3/8 of an inch and two right-side terminals. Notably, the motor no longer comes with harness wires, which must be obtained separately for installation.

Replaced the evaporator fan motor, fan blade, and two rubber grommets. I was careful to mark screws and bolts with sticky notes to ensure getting them back in the right place. I had all the new parts ready before I started the job because I did not have an extra freezer for my food and I wanted to do this quickly and only once. The white had worn off the refrigerator and freezer door handles exposing the dingy yellow underneath. Because it was a soft vinyl material, I didn't think paint would work. The replacement parts arrived two days after ordering. Accessing the door handle screws involved removing two pieces of trim by wedging a narrow bladed screwdriver into the top joint between the white trim and the chrome channel and gently prying the trim outward and down toward me until it popped out of the channel.
