I bought a condo, and did not realize the freezer shelves were broken. Once I moved in, I realized several shelves were held up by string.......I knew I couldn't use it effectively that way, and I wasn't ready to buy a new refrigerator, so I googled appliance parts and found this site. The ice dispenser door was not closing tightly. As a result, there was frost build up in the ice chute, which also was allowing ambient air and temperature into the freezer compartment. Upon further inspection, there was black “schmutz” on the ice door, and the rubber ice funnel and deflector parts were deteriorating.
