The handles were a simple fix. Just pop out the door trim, which I did by pulling on the very top and bottom of the trim to get it started. Then removed two star screws from the handle. I had to work the chrome plastic top and bottom handle caps off, then reversed the process for installing the new handle. The Recess/Dispenser was a bit more tricky. I pried the trim and control panel off with a putty knife, then the rest was fairly obvious, such as removing screws and wiring connectors. ... Read more

The ice dispenser door was not closing tightly. As a result, there was frost build up in the ice chute, which also was allowing ambient air and temperature into the freezer compartment. Upon further inspection, there was black “schmutz” on the ice door, and the rubber ice funnel and deflector parts were deteriorating. Ordered a new tank from AppliancePartsPros and installed it. Install took longer than the videos on the website due to several factors. My refrigerator was not sitting in the middle of the room like on the video. It was not new and empty. Hose connections were not as accessible as the video.
