Replaced power cord. Note: Took old cord off and went to Sears parts center a couple of miles from my home. They said it was no longer available. Watching a fix it video through Appliance Parts Pros, I emptied my freezer after disconnecting the power. It is -6 degrees in Wisconsin right now so I threw it all out in the snow. My wife wasn't happy. I then removed the light cover which allowed me to remove two screws which allowed me to pull the top light fixture cowling off. I got the model number from inside the refrigerator and started researching as to who sold parts for this old refrigerator. AppliancePartsPros.com had the best price with parts and shipping. It came in just a few days. The handle was easy to replace by popping out the bottom cover, unscrewing one screw at the bottom and then unscrewing the top two screws. It took about 5 minutes to replace. Very easy. Very nice replacement part. Read more
