This is a chrome-finished timer knob that attaches to the timer shaft on the dryer's control panel, allowing you to select and start drying cycles. It is made of plastic with a metallic chrome appearance. Replace this knob if it is cracked, broken, or no longer grips the timer shaft properly, making it difficult to turn or set the dryer cycle.

This assembly includes the housing and door that enclose the lint screen filter compartment on the top or front of the dryer. It provides access to the lint filter for cleaning and keeps the filter securely in place during operation. Replace this part if the door is cracked, broken, won't stay closed, or if the housing is damaged and no longer holds the lint screen properly.
Open dryer door. Remove four Phillip head screws that hold lint assembly together. Two inside and two on the outside. There is also a hex head screw behind the front panel. To get at it I removed the four hex heads at bottom of front panel and four star head screws on left side of front panel. Used the Wpl. Vent Kit, 4-way. This is not a quick, easy job. You have to disassemble the dryer, removing the entire front, door, drum, and control panel.
