If water pools under your washer or drains slowly, a damaged drain cap may be the cause. This cap prevents leaks and controls water flow during cycles.
At first I thought it was the bearing, but when I got it apart I found the main shaft had corroded from possibly the soap powder and bleach combo build up on the part. After I cleaned it all up I found one of the three mounting braces was cracked and causing the unit to shake during the spin cycle. This is the pump housing or pump case that encloses the drain pump assembly on a front-load or top-load washing machine.
