Shipping bolt kit secures washer drum during transport. Includes 4 bolts to prevent drum damage when moving. Replace if lost or install before relocating.
I watched the youtube video from appliancepartspros that explained every step of how to install shipping bolts on a Whirlpool Duet front-load washer. The step that I would have missed without the video was removing the top cover from the washer in order to push the drum down enough for the shipping bolts to connect. Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up).
