After searching online I found the problem was likely the temperature sensor, electronic control or a wiring problem. I am a veterinarian with absolutely no electronic training but enjoy solving problems and the service call itself was $95. I replaced the temperature sensor for $20 and did not fix the problem. I purchased 1 handle, and 2 screws, based on the picture on line, the screws were the correct ones as they appeared to look just like the ones I took out. But the screws that arrived were different than the ones in the picture. I called and talked with Terry and he agreed that I was sent the wrong screws based on the information I had and the picture on line.
