My refrigerator's cooling fan was making a noise. It wasn't loud; in fact, it was barely discernible. However, it was just loud enough to annoy me. Replaced with OEM replacement seal. Watched video on appliance parts pro which showed the proper process to remove the old seal and install a new seal. Surprisingly, it was very quick and only took about 15-20 minutes, including removing the freezer door and re-installing freezer door after seal installation. Unfortunately, a new seal did not cure my problem. 4 days later, I have ice building up again. I studied the new seal and noted there are small gaps at the corners of the freezer... Read more

This is a thermistor-style temperature sensor that monitors the evaporator coil temperature in a room air conditioner. It sends temperature readings to the control board so the unit can regulate cooling cycles and prevent the evaporator from freezing over. Replace this sensor if the air conditioner runs continuously without cycling off, fails to cool properly, displays an error code, or if the evaporator coil ices up excessively.
Replaced thermistor and PC board . Not exactly sure which one fixed it but in guessing the pc board and the thermistor wasnt but $15.00 or something so we decided just to change it too .. And use a small piece of masking tape on small screws removi g the pc board and you wo t have to fight with it so much .
