The lint catch was broken Misti P. • Spokane , WA • January 18, 2019
This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one.

The Water Reservoir Tubing is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It is a flexible plastic tubing that replaces the water reservoir and holds the water for the ice maker and dispenser.
Causes can include cracks from heat or cold exposure over time, punctures from sharp edges during installation, or deterioration of plastic tubing that impacts integrity.
Symptoms of bad water reservoir tubing include:
- Inaccurate or inconsistent ice production
- Leaks or water spills near the reservoir or ice maker
- Kinks or ruptures in the tubing that obstruct water flow
- Mineral buildup that clogs or restricts the line
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and some Kenmore models.
Note: As per manufacture this is no longer a tank. The tank style has been updated with coiled tubing.

Water in refrigerator dispenser smelled like rotten eggs Dale L. • Phoenix , AZ • July 29, 2018
Replaced water reservoir that had become contaminated with ??? Also had to replace the water filter, because the water contaminated it also. Cost was about $150, for two filters and the reservoir. The first filter was replaced because I did not know the reservoir was contaminated, and no water was coming out of the dispenser. Since the water in the ice maker did not come through the reservoir, there was no smell or contamination there. The new filter enabled water to come through the dispenser,...

Ice maker not dispensing Debra G. • Albuquerque , NM • April 13, 2015
Although the solenoid I purchased did not fix the problem, nor the "mother electronic board", or the motor, my experience with Appliance Parts Pros has been excellent.
Extremely easy to look-up parts for my model refrigerator.
Best part is their video instruction that gives you step-by-step hands-on how to remove and install.
I would highly recommend these folks. If a lady such as myself can do repairs based on their instruction, anyone can.
Thank you for providing such an informative...

Ice dispenser did not work Magic P. • Riverdale , GA • January 22, 2015
I first thought it was the auger in the ice container so I changed it and it was not the problem. I then talked to ApplianceParts customer service that it might be the yoke on the motor that turned the auger or even the motor itself even though it worked. I ordered the parts, the yoke was supposed to be able to be changed by itself but mind would not come off the motor shaft so I had to cut it off just to remove it from the unit so I had to change the motor anyway because of this. So I advise...

- Addresses visible damage such as burnt, melted, pinched, or frayed wires/connectors
- Helps when diagnostics indicate open/shorted circuits in the wiring
What's included:
- One wire harness assembly
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing; shut off water or gas if applicable
- Photograph/label each connection and follow the original routing to avoid pinch points or heat sources
- Release locking tabs and pull on connector housings—do not pull on the wires
