Washer won't spin or turns inconsistently? The stator assembly creates the magnetic field that drives the drum. Moderate DIY repair, 30-60 minutes.
The drum was hesitating and then not turning at all with an error code. Wife also smelled "something burning", which of course is never a good sign. Ordered a new stator and had my LG washer back up and running 15 minutes after getting the $100 stator via FedEx. This is the third repair on this machine in 8 years, all parts received from APP!!!!
