I removed all the screws and removed the outside shell on the door. Had to be careful as the clear plastic cover and the glass dome can fall off / out. Removed the broken door handle and replaced it with the new handle. Pay attention to the proper assembly of the door handle, latch and spring clip. I put everything back together being careful with the glass dome and completed the job in approximately 15 minutes. Read more

I pulled the seal back and removed the old switch. When the new part arrived I connected the switch, replaced the seal, the attached the wire that holds the seal. I was not able to find the part I needed on the LG website. While watching your video I clicked on the "order this part" link and I was able to see the part and match it to the switch I had just removed. Thank you. Read more
