If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it. I drained the unit. Removed the front cover which is only held on by a couple of screws and the retainer ring that holds the rubber boot the seal for the door. But pretty straight forward after that. Just switch out the the the part its location is on the bottom lert. The case assembly is located under the top cover...the top cover os held down by 2 screws once out the cover slides of the part is on the left side just remove wires plugs and change out you only have to remove the screws holding...
