This sensor assembly detects vibration and out-of-balance conditions during the washer's spin cycle. It mounts to the washer's tub or frame and sends signals to the control board to adjust spin speed or pause the cycle when excessive vibration is detected. Replace this sensor if the washer frequently stops mid-spin, displays an out-of-balance error code, or fails to reach full spin speed even with a properly balanced load.
