Changed the pressure switch. Second time I've done it on this machine. I assume that the quality of original parts on appliances these days are garbage. Very easy fix and if the washer is still working in a year or so I'll be doing this again. Read more
Harness to corset & shifter
Just replaced both the inlet valve and water nozzle. Make sure you spend the $5-$6 and get a new water nozzle as well. The rubber tubing that connects to the inlet valve on the old unit may not come off and you may have to cut that tubing depending on age. Read more

I discovered that the water pressure sensor was jammed in the far reset position (full clockwise) by a damaged control knob and that the sensor spring was not strong enough to return the knob/sensor to the max fill position and shut off the water. The control knob collar that fits on to the sensor shaft had broken and a small piece of the damaged plastic collar wedged against the front panel which caused the knob to stick in the reset position. This thermal fuse protects the washer motor from electrical overload by breaking the circuit when excessive current is detected. Located in the motor assembly, it needs replacement when the washer won't start or operate despite having power.
Its alive!! After a recent power surge, our washer would not spin or agitate. I tried replacing the timer but the motor still would not spin or agitate. I was really hoping the motor was not fried. I replaced the fuse and its working like a champion again!
