This is a right-hand door closing mechanism for a refrigerator. It uses a cam or spring assembly to pull the door shut automatically once it is released near the closed position. Replace this part if your refrigerator door no longer closes on its own, swings open after being pushed shut, or fails to seal properly against the gasket.
