Connects inlet valve to water system in your refrigerator. Replace if cracked, kinked, or leaking at connections to restore leak-free water flow.
Water line coming out of inlet valve to ice maker was cracked. Removed the paperboard cover from the bottom of the back of the fridge, then unplugged the water line going from the inlet valve to the ice maker. Wasn't sure this new tube was going to work, because the original had an elbow on it. Fit just fine. Removed grille from front and disconnected other end of ice maker water line. I ordered the door hinge cam kit, both the hinge, lower and upper cam. I followed videos found on the web. I would recommend taking the refrigerator door off by removing the upper hinge bracket and lifting the door off the lower hinge. It was much easier to replace the hinge and cam with the door off. One video suggested using Di-electric grease to lubricate the cam surfaces. Read more
