Door gasket and label assembly creates an airtight seal to keep cold air in and moisture out. Replace when worn or damaged to restore efficiency. Verify fit.
Verified the dampers actuated and evaporator fan wasn't blocked. Replaced both door gaskets per tech manual guidance. The Freezer one came yesterday...still waiting on the fresh food one. Freezer one went on fine -- just a little challenge aligning the bottom, but got it after only a small bit of frustration. It has already helped fix the situation it seems. Replaced original (18 yrs.) 1/4" plastic tubing, clamp and grommet (AppliancePartsPros/GE parts) from outlet of ice maker water control valve to ice maker inlet. Also replaced water supply line to inlet of water control valve with new, GE braided, PEX 1/4" supply line with pre-attached female compression fittings on both ends. Changed the Frigidaire Icemaker Fill Tube Part # 241796405 (AP5671747) about a week ago and so far the Frigidaire Refrigerator seems to work fine. Did not use other ordered parts.
