1) I installed 4 ea new Whirlpool 700855K switches. (The old switches had INF-240P-871 stamped on them. 700855K was the cross-referenced P/N.) The installation was easy. There is slight difference in the terminal arrangement: 1) the old switch has raised terminals whereas the new switch has recessed terminals (for safety), and 2) the terminal markings are slightly different: The old switch has L1/L2/P/H1/H2 (5 terminals). • Will not stop filling with water

This error code indicated faulty water level and wash cycles were exhibiting either no water or too much water. Saw utube vid using this part for this type of problem and so far the repair is working well. Part arrived in 2 days, it was the right part and the machine is working the way its supposed to so I'm very happy. The worst scenario would have been to hire a repair guy to rip me off for a "Johnson Rod" I didn't need. Read more

• No heat or not enough heat

GE Gas Dryer Model DBVH512GF1WW began to heat for only a short amount of time so drying clothes took WAY too long. Read online that the first thing to replace are the solenoids. Bought the two solenoids from AppliancePartsPros.com for about $50 total, and it seems to have fixed the problem. Had to watch a few videos to learn to disassemble the dryer, and the job took a couple of hours, but now that I know what I'm doing it could be done in less than 30 minutes. Replaced the motor with a direct replacement part. The wiring was not the same because the switch on the motor was different. The instructions that came with the motor were enough for me to figure out what to do. Read more

My barely three year old Frigidaire upright freezer quit running and we discovered it when most of the contents were just starting to thaw. Replaced the Thermistor Assembly and also picked up Overload Protection circuit per the comments posted by the "experts" on the web site. Both parts cheap enough. I ordered parts at 3:30 in the afternoon and they showed up the next morning from half way across the country. Outstanding service. It also fixed the 9 year old refrigerator. Replacing the parts took about a half hour most of which was moving the unit from the wall and removing the panel to get at the parts. Read more

Two screws remove the top. Unplug the wires to the old relay, give it a quarter turn and it's out. A five minute procedure. What took five hours was replacing the dryer duct work that I discovered was mostly crushed on its way from the laundry room, through a couple of walls to the exterior. Read more

I first checked a repair video and found the procedure was a 10 minute job. I then went to the website, put in my stove model number and searched for the switch. While I was looking I was offered a chat session with one of their experts. I am glad that I accepted. The switch I was looking at was not the right switch for the job. It is difficult (if not impossible) to remove the electronic switches from the hard plastic latches. I replaced all three switches and both the upper and lower latches I also replaced the main 20 amp ceramic fuse which blew out when the latch/switches failed. Read more

Looked up possible causes on line and found video about trouble shooting. It said to check starter cap and run relay on side of compressor. Removed both and found both were bad .ordered replacements on line from appliancePartspros.com. Installed new parts and is working properly. This repair job was on a 2012 Frigidaire refrig.
