Filter replacement is easy. CAUTION. When removing the wand that is immediately above this filter you must reach around the back base and feel for a tab sticking out. Pull on it and lift the wand up. If not you may break the tab off which is a retainer needed for the center wand that supplies water to the upper rack. I took the plastic vent piece off the front of the microwave & removed the charcoal filter & put the new one in. Made sure that while I had it open I cleaned all the built up grease out of it before closing it back up. Took the 2 grease filters from underneath the microwave & replaced with the new ones.
