This assembly includes the auger motor that rotates to push ice from the ice bucket through the dispenser chute. The motor drives the auger blade, breaking up clumped ice and moving it toward the dispenser opening when you press the ice lever or button. Replace this assembly if ice is not dispensing, you hear the motor humming but the auger isn't turning, or the ice maker is no longer producing or delivering ice.

I did a little research on the internet. I check to make sure it was getting power with Ohm meter. I took the front panel off to see what I could find. I found 2 dead roaches in the control board box and there was some brown stuff on the control board. I checked the price to replace the part online and local. I noticed something was wrong when the dishwasher no longer remembered the last cycle performed. After it finished, it would go to a default cycle.
