PLEASE UNPLUG DRYER FIRST. This was my first attempt at trying to fix my dryer (Maytag SDE515DAYW). Order the element kit Part Number AP4046564. The installation was easier than I thought. Just removed the two front panels and I was able to reach the back of the dryer, under the drum (this is where the heat element was located), disconnected the wires (took pictures first) and removed the two screws that held the heat element. REPLACED NEW RIGHT FRONT POWER BURNER. THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I THEN REPLACED THE BURNER CONNECTING SWITCH BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR VIDEO. BURNER HEATS UP NORMALLY, BUT I DON'T KNOW YET IF IT WILL SUDDENLY GO TO THE HIGH SETTING. IT WAS A SPORADIC PROBLEM I WAS HAVING...SO I'M HOPING THIS SOLVES THE ISSUE.
