Label all wiring harnesses before disconnecting because some have he same number of pins which could lead to sadness if interchanged Slide ware connectors upward to release from water filter and lower water solenoid. Bought a new sump/motor assembly to make it an easy swap out instead of buying just the motor. Assembly also came with a new diverter motor so I won't have to worry about having to go back in there if that failed. I also purchased new turbidity sensor and drain pump (which I found out had a small leak in addition to starting to fail) since I was already in there. The machine works like it's brand new now. Because the dishwasher made noise only when washing or rinsing, and not when filling, the problem was correctly diagnosed as a faulty circulation pump. Although not difficult, it took more time to remove the dishwasher from under the counter and to reinstall it (approximately one hour) than it took to swap out the circulation pump (5 minutes). The online video to change the water tube from the solenoid to filter was very helpful. It made the project straightforward. I had to replace the water tank tube as well. It was more challenging because there was no video for my model refrigerator (Frigidaire French Door) but a side-by-side unit video provided enough hints. After receiving the part, it was easy — the part itself twisted off without tools (pliers were helpful to remove and reattach the drain hose), and I was able to complete the repair without pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter. Cut off old connector and attached new one. Was very easy. But then the water line sprung a leak above the connector. Once on, the connector can't be removed, so I had to order another connector (paying shipping again), cut away the connector and leaking section of hose, then reinstall the new connector. All very easy, just annoying. Shipping was very fast so it made it easier to deal with. Read more
