Tipped the dishwasher on to its front, loosened the drain hose clamp and pulled the hose off. Then unscrew the fill hose which looks like a garden hose adapter. Cut the zip tie on the drain hose and take note of how both hoses are routed, then pull both hoses out the back of the dishwasher. Insert new hoses and route them correctly and hook everything back up. Couple of notes, I didn't have to take off the outer cabinet to do this repair. I searched the web for a replacement drawer to no avail. Once I reached this site I was pretty discouraged when your site also said my drawer was no longer available. I purchased replacement parts to completely replace basket, face plate, and rollers. I received exactly what I ordered. The only problem I had was removing the part(s) from the shipping box. I thought the part came assembled (as rollers had been installed onto the basket), but the face plate had not been snapped into place. I discovered that the manifold was not connecting with the water supply,so the dishes in the upper tray were not being washed. This was caused because the rear hanger on the manifold had broken and it did not lineup properly into the water supply connection in the back of the dishwasher. I removed the manifold and found that it had two part numbers stamped on it. I searched on both part numbers and received a hit on the second part number. Initially I replaced the rear drum bearing assembly. I searched all over for a good how-to video and came across the Appliance Pros tutorial on YouTube. It was by far the easiest to understand with the added bonus that AP had the parts I needed. I had never done this before, but using the video as my guide I was able to replace the rear bearing assembly in about an hour and a half. Viewed the replacement video on the appliancepartspros.com repair process to see how complicated the repair was. Replacement part ordered but took a full 7 days to cross 2 states?? Replacement part was authentic replacement and was installed in about 15 minutes. One thing that was not mentioned in the video...make sure the water spout in routed correctly into the ice maker. Had to take the back cover off. It was very tight to remove the fan that sat in the drip pan but did get it off, was able to apply the same level of cursing and got the new pan installed, installing the drain tube was a breeze. Found the parts price very reasonable. Hoping the Whirlpool redesigned the pan so I won't have to do it ever again. I was surprised at how bad the quality of their original part was.
