This replacement control knob restores a secure, accurate feel when setting temperatures on your cooktop or range. Swap out a worn or broken knob to regain smooth, dependable control of your appliance's settings. What it does:
Watched the video and replaced it. Though I did one wire moving at a time, rather than pull all the wires off and then try to figure where they go. I did take a photo first though for backup, but did not need it. Need the needle nose pliers to take connectors off the old one. White plastic knob for dishwasher door latch handle. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing latch knobs. Slides onto latch assembly and secures with screw.
The new one slid right on easily. It didn't come with a screw but the threads are the same as the screws that are used for putting in light switches so all you need to do is either get a short one or trim a light switch or outlet screw down to size. Read more

Color: gray. The back part of the knob measures about an inch in diameter, and the front part with the handle is about 2 inches in diameter.
Very easy to install the new knob. Mine had broken and the metal sleeve was still attached to the selector shaft. The sleeve was easily removed with a pair of needle nose pliers and the new knob slid right in place. Read more

First I used epoxy which I do not recommend since it can interfere with the later replacement of new knobs. The replacement of new knobs went easily with the exception of getting the epoxy off. Getting the epoxy off is difficult and required a Dremel to cut the plastic and slip joint pliers to peel the plastic off. Read more
