• Disconnect power and allow hot surfaces to cool before servicing
• Pull the old knob straight off the control shaft; do not twist against stops
• Align the flat or D-shaped opening with the shaft and press firmly until seated
• If the knob won't seat, inspect the shaft for damage or debris before reinstalling
