Very little water pressure coming from spray arms only sprayed about 6" Kevin H. • San Antonio , TX • August 18, 2019
Our Bosch suddenly quit washing the dishes properly after 15 years of faithful service. I observed that there was no pressure coming from the sprayers, and determined it to be the circulating pump. I could reach into the pump from inside the dishwasher and could feel that something was loose in there - the impeller moved when pumping, but I could stop it with my finger.
When I took the pump out and disassembled it, the impeller was in two pieces (the front and back pieces that are supposed...

GE dishwasher was not filling water. A M. • Aurora , CO • October 13, 2018
Dishwasher had begun going through the cycles with not enough water in the chamber. Suspect was the water inlet valve. Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve. Installed the new valve, replaced the bracket and the toe cover and dish washer is back in service like brand new.
Wife was ready to...

Our Maytag gas dryer was not producing heat— specifically it was cycling off after initially lighting Timothy E. • Bellvue , CO • September 15, 2019
When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I removed the water steamer bottle and its sub-assembly and then the drum. After cleaning and inspecting components — both visually and with a multi-meter I determined the problem was the appliance doing what it was...

Clothes dryer stopped heating Ashby W S. • Sandpoint , ID • February 28, 2016
Looked at how-to video at Appliancepartspros.com. Took back off dryer thinking I needed to replace heating element. Found loose thermostat wire that had corroded. Spade connector on wire fell off. Tried to order a replacement thermostat online but had to get into chat mode with Appliancepartspros.com salesman in order to identify the right thermostat. At...

Dishwasher was making a strange noise while running Craig E. • Plymouth , MI • February 07, 2015
The pump impeller came apart so it was not pumping the water and making noise.
The dishwasher came apart easy but the gasket to the sump assembly stayed attached to the bottom of the tub and did not pull it off. I was running my thumb around the gasket to see if it was in good shape or if I needed to replace it and sliced my thumb open on the sharp edge of the tub opining. So a $150 later for Emergency Room visit and a sore thumb I re assembled the dishwasher. Be careful of sharp edges in this...
