Easy job, remove door from oven, remove 8 screws around outside edge of door and seperate the two halfs/ Remove 2 screws on the hinge, replace with new hinge put back together and install door. A broken cam can be bad news. The door can swing open from its own weight. I ordered a door closure kit (cams) plus shims. My fridge needs a stack of shims on the fridge door to align it vertically. The old shims had broken and pieces fell out. The lack of support may have caused the cams to fail since they sit on the shims. The problem was corrosion in the connector coming from the freezer door; the wire easily separated from the connector once I examined it. I had already bought a new freezer door, replacement part number WR78X11246, but the new door has a different connector. So, on speculation, I bought GE P/N WR09X10132 adapter wire, and it worked!
