Dispenser Switch Parts

Turn the power off to the range. Pull off the black control knob. Remove 6 - 5/16 screws in back of the range behind the controls panel. Take out 2 screws (behind the control knob) in front that hold the control swirch in the panel. Remove each wire from the old switch and place it onto the new switch (one at a time)so get the wires are installed in the correct place. Make sure the wire are tight on the new switch. Ordered a new ASM cover, removed the old. Plugged in the new and attached. Works like new! Read more

Turned off power. Removed cover over back of fan control switch. Unscrewed nut holding old switch in place. Removed clear plastic wire coverings. Hardest part of job. Photographed wires. Removed wires of old switch and replaced with wires from new switch. Had an extra green wire since old switch did not have a ground. Secured switch in panel with nut that came with it. Replaced cover on back of control switch. Turned on power and it now reduces the speed of the fan. Read more

Filled tub to about 6 inches and inspected washer. Noticed that the tube leading from the air entrapment bubble on the exterior side of the drum had a small leak in it. Clipped off the part of the tube that had the hole in it(it was very close to the connector nipple) reconnected and problem was solved. Read more

Checked on AppliancePartsPros and found the parts, once I received the parts I pulled the outer cover of the microwave and replaced the three switches. For the price of the three switches it was cheaper to install all new. Total repair time, 15 minutes. Microwaves back up and running. Very easy fix. Read more

Well by doing this I was able to find the source of my problem. What I thought was the heating coil not working right, ended up being the timer that was bad!!!
