Amanda refrigerator too warm and its freezer too cold Dennis K. • Pacifica , CA • November 09, 2015
I read the help guide on the AppliancePartsPros.com web site and then decided to test my defrost heater with a volt/ohm meter. I read an open circuit. I then removed the radiant heater element from the refrigerator and see nothing wrong with the element, but the connection on both sides to it, that resemble a spark plug wire to an automotive plug, was corroded to a powder making no electrical connection. I then searched for the replacement part to find that Amana discontinued the part after...

Turned the power off. Lifted the oven door up and off.to make access easier and to clean an replace gasket. Then unscrewed the element brackets. Cleaned oven. Took oven door apart to replace gasket ,you have to separate the door halves to clean window and get the gasket out. This is where you better take pictures and notes. You need a large work bench and a good #2 Phillips. Taking the elements out you will deal with gouged out screws, rust stripped threads etc. You may need to buy some self...

Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 5303307010
The bake element is the lower oven heating element that produces heat during bake cycles. Replacing a failed element restores proper preheating and even baking performance when your range no longer heats correctly in bake mode.
- Provides bottom-up heat in bake mode to reach and maintain set temperatures
- Typical symptoms include no heat in bake, excessively long preheat, or uneven/undercooked results
- Visual clues of failure may include blisters, cracks, or burnt spots on the element
- A shorted element may trip a household breaker when energized
What's included: 1 bake element
- Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; verify no power to the range
- Remove oven racks; unfasten the element from the rear wall and gently pull it forward to access terminals
- Transfer the wires to the new element one at a time; do not let wires retract into the rear panel
- Reinstall and secure the element, ensure connections are fully seated and clear of metal, restore power, and test

The elements were fine, problem with the drip pans Michael S. • Sedalia , CO • March 15, 2020
We had ordered and installed the drip pans and when we took a look, we knew we needed new elements. Those were perfect; exact replacement. The problem was on the eight inch units, the rim of the drip pan touched the element. It was a simple matter of removing a small bit of the drip pan where the element enters. Aircraft snips and a little polishing with a Dremel tool, and all is well. Wife loves the new elements.
