Turned the power off. Lifted the oven door up and off.to make access easier and to clean an replace gasket.Then unscrewed the element brackets. Cleaned oven. Took oven door apart to replace gasket ,you have to separate the door halves to clean window and get the gasket out. This is where you better take pictures and notes. Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool before servicing
Remove oven racks; take out the element's mounting screws and gently pull the element forward to access wire terminals
Transfer wires one at a time to the new element; do not allow wires to fall back into the insulation
Reinstall the element and panels, restore power, and test bake operation
