I took the plastic vent piece off the front of the microwave & removed the charcoal filter & put the new one in. Made sure that while I had it open I cleaned all the built up grease out of it before closing it back up. Took the 2 grease filters from underneath the microwave & replaced with the new ones. Well, after I accessed the place where the charcoal filter would be, I found out that there was NO CHARCOAL FILTER AT ALL! No wonder the circulating fan did not take cooking odors out of the room!
