This wire harness connects the control/switch assembly to the appliance's thermal cutoff and control circuits, restoring reliable electrical connections for proper operation. It's a direct-fit replacement when the original wiring is damaged or corroded. What it does:
- Provides the factory routing and connectors between the control/switch and TCB/thermal cutoff
- Re-establishes lost or intermittent power caused by damaged wiring or broken terminals
- Helps stop failures that cause controls to be unresponsive or cycles to stop unexpectedly
- Uses OEM-style terminals and insulation to match original fit and function
What's included:
- One wire harness (switch TCB) as shown
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before starting — verify the appliance is completely de-energized
- Take photos of existing wire routing and connector locations to ensure correct reassembly
- Plug connectors fully and secure the harness along original clips or tie points; avoid sharp edges
- If terminals are damaged at mating parts, inspect and replace those components rather than splicing connectors

Burner won't adjust heat or jumps to full power? This infinite switch restores variable temperature control to surface burners. DIY install in 30 minutes.
Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
I had an old stove in the kitchen, the controls had gone bad. When the knob is turned they once turned up the heat gradually, they started jumping at some point in the rotation to fully on Roger H. • Rice Lake , WI • November 15, 2019
Being cautious, I ordered new burner controls (infinity switches) for the front two burners. I installed them and was very happy with the results. The new controls allowed me to increase or decrease the amount of heat without what you might call thermal runaway (A sudden switch to full-on). Encouraged, I ordered two more burner controls and installed them for the back two burners. I have not yet tested them extensively, but I am confident that I now have four functioning burners.

This right-side burner switch controls heat output on the cooktop so burners respond correctly to your knob settings. It restores proper power and temperature control for a single right-side heating element. What it does:
- Replaces a worn or faulty right burner control to restore variable heat settings
- Enables proper on/off function and temperature regulation for the right cooktop element
- Commonly used when a burner won't heat, only works at certain settings, or cycles unexpectedly
- Works with ranges that use a separate switch for the right front/right rear heating element
What's included: One right-side burner switch. Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker before attempting any repair to avoid shock
- Handle wiring terminals carefully; verify connections match the original before reassembly
- Use proper tools and avoid overtightening mounting hardware to prevent damage

When turning the burner off the ignitor would continue to spark and some burners would not ignite. Andrew M. • Valley City , OH • June 02, 2020
I replaced the burner switches, since we had been having trouble with specific burners igniting unless another burner was tuned on. Then I replaced the spark module since the flame and the burner being turned off were not being detected and burners would not re-light if the flame went out.
