I replaced the switch, the plunger, plunger guide and the lid cam, but the cam still didn't turn on the switch. Turned out someone had stood on the washer and bent the lid slightly, not enough to notice, but since I had ruled out just about everything else I started looking at the lid itself. I ended up bending it back close to it's original shape and now it works fine. I guess I learned a few things about washing machines though. I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year... Read more

Remove the 3 screws from the back of the top cover Pull backward about 2 inches and lift the top off Reach in and disconnect the the door latch wiring Remove the 2 screws that hold the latch to the door frame Pop the latch loose from the plastic holder on the right side by pushing it forward Replace the switch with the new one and repeat each step in reverse Read more

The water dispenser stopped working on my Sears Kenmore (Whirlpool) side-by-side refrigerator and after much research on the web I purchased the parts that commonly failed for this condition. We noticed several screws were missing from our dryer door hinges which caused the door to sag and the strike bent as the door slammed. We easily removed the door and took it apart, then removed the old strike and installed this new one. I cut off the vandalised Lock-Cam with a reciprocating saw. The new Lock-Cam slipped into place easily. Read more

I purchased a freezer gasket + key// from appliancepartspros.com //easy to order. I did not need to lock up my freezer but thought it might help the gasket seat (good thought).
