Patricia R Florence , OR July 09, 2017 Freezer gasket replaced by 77 year old lady I purchased a freezer gasket + key// from appliancepartspros.com //easy to order. I did not need to lock up my freezer but thought it might help the gasket seat (good thought). To replace gasket I started at top of door, wow, I should have started at bottom. Hated laying on my "belly" to screw in gasket. Ok, I am 77 years old but got the job done. All went okay until I had to close the door, the door would not stay shut. Key: I locked the door for a week. New seal is settling in, freezer is working well. Thanks for quick fix for $85.00. Better cost than new freezer. Lady Patricia, I used a nail to find hidden screw holes. Ian G Portland , OR August 09, 2014 Lost key I ordered a new key. It worked perfectly. Lots of places were offering Whirlpool refrigerator keys that had a pentagon shape, however I needed a key with a cross pattern. Entering the model number of my refrigerator on this website resulted in the correct key for my refrigerator. Holly J Gastonia , NC March 20, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Freezer EV200NXDN01 Saved during a rough time! Corona virus pandemic happening. While others bought & hoarded toilet paper, this former Girl Scout found a gently used upright freezer for $50 and filled it with food so I would not need to grocery shop as frequently as normal. The freezer is in pristine condition, but it's almond color tells me it has a few miles on it. It was the 'spare beer box' for a retired couple who are selling their home. I cleaned it up inside and out. At 19.6 cu ft it holds at least 1 month of frozen dinners and almond milk. It's key for the lock was long gone and the front lower 1/3 of it's face had faint red spray paint on it where someone had sprayed something close to it in the past. I had a problem locating a key AND a can of almond colored spray paint to make it storeroom gorgeous again. The only part, no longer available was the drip pan but I improvised with an old cookie sheet pan. I use this biz for any appliance parts I need. It is a no fuss, pay with a credit card deal every time. I got the parts in 3 days via FedEx, packaged securely. I absolutely will use them again. Tom S Yorktown , IN August 16, 2021 Appliance: Model AMANA MOD# AU200KW 20 year old upright freezer door gasket no longer sealed. Inside door panel must be loosened, but not entirely removed. Simply remove 2/3 of the screws at the top and down both sides. Work the old gasket loose, let it hang while you install the new gasket from the top, and replace half of the screws to hold a new gasket in place. Continue removing lower screws, remove and discard the old gasket, then fit the lower half of the new gasket into place and reinstall remaining screws in the lower half. The new gasket had been folded and required a little time in the sun to relax and unbend a little bit. A P P Is the best! I have saved hundreds of dollars in repair costs and thousands in appliance costs.
