Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 4026EL3007A
The Door Strike is an OEM part for LG dryers. This part engages with the door catch to keep the dryer door securely closed during operation. The door strike is essential for ensuring the door remains tightly shut, allowing the dryer to function efficiently and safely.
Causes of a bad door strike can include wear and tear from regular use, damage from slamming the door, or misalignment issues that prevent it from engaging properly with the door catch.
Symptoms of a bad door strike include:
- The dryer door not staying closed
- The dryer not starting due to the door not being securely latched
- Difficulty in latching the door
- Visible damage or wear on the strike
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.

Lid switch was not turning on, washer filled but didn't wash spin etc George J. • Hopewell , IL • March 02, 2020
I replaced the switch, the plunger, plunger guide and the lid cam, but the cam still didn't turn on the switch. Turned out someone had stood on the washer and bent the lid slightly, not enough to notice, but since I had ruled out just about everything else I started looking at the lid itself. I ended up bending it back close to it's original shape and now it works fine. I guess I learned a few things about washing machines though. One lesson is when you pull off the controls, the hose leading...

I accidentally stepped on the door of my Samsung dryer. The door is intact but brackets bent. Margaret C. • Tampa , FL • June 07, 2018
I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year...

Refrigerator water dispenser stopped working Carlos R. • Houston , TX • September 19, 2014
The water dispenser stopped working on my Sears Kenmore (Whirlpool) side-by-side refrigerator and after much research on the web I purchased the parts that commonly failed for this condition. I should have first taken the dispenser assembly apart but I didn't--it looked a little too intimidating to do twice. As it turns out, what actually broke was the plastic assembly that holds the water actuator switch in place so the dispenser lever could not strike it. I was able to secure it in place...
