This is the lower access panel, also called a toe panel, that attaches to the front bottom of the washer. It covers the internal components beneath the drum area and provides a finished appearance. Replace this panel if it is dented, cracked, rusted, or if the mounting tabs are broken, leaving the lower portion of the machine exposed.
Watched the video a few times for door boot seal replacement. It was a lot of help! The spring is the hardest to replace and I did enlist the help of my wife. Everything went back on great. Obtained the part from Appliance Parts Pros. It was on national back order but was shipped exactly at the time we were told it would be. The old frame was easy to take off by removing 5 set screws. The glass front from the old frame had to be removed. This was a little tricky since it was held in place by stationary clips.
