This tube connects the water supply to the middle wash arm of the dishwasher, delivering pressurized water so the spray arm can spin and clean dishes on the upper rack. It runs vertically from the lower area of the tub up to the mid-level spray arm assembly. Replace this tube if the middle spray arm is not spinning, dishes on the upper rack are not getting clean, or if you notice leaks or cracks in the tube.

Snip the top of hanger loop then install. Just a couple minute job.

After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. I ordered a filter housing, some plastic tubes to replace the leaking one and en extra connector which came really handy.
I followed the videos and replaced parts pretty easily. It could have been done in as little as 15 minutes. But I started getting leaks and took me a while to play with water lines and changing connectors to stop the leak. Then I had to test it a few times to make sure it won't leak again.
