Also, as a back up measure we replaced the drain hose assembly thinking this may have been clogged with fabric softener residue. A success and wash machine works like it is brand new! Also replaced worn drain hose, recirculation pump, and tub drain hose since I had the entire machine taken apart. Wash Machine only 3 years old. Interesting since the error was intermittent. Robert C Plumas Lake , CA January 27, 2017 Brand new lg front load washer started leaking after only the second wash load I discovered the drain hose was defective and leaking at the elbow. I ordered a new drain hose from appliance parts pros and fixed the problem in literally 15 minutes. The part was less than $25 and it saved me time and frustration having to deal with LG and a repair tech. Also, I saw that most of the parts were very cheap and I realized it didn't warrant me purchasing an extended warranty when I could buy the parts and fix problems myself for less. Read More...
