The Range Cap is an OEM part for Frigidaire ranges. It seals the upper combustion chamber to contain heat from the oven burners. A tight-fitting cap is critical for efficient, safe oven performance. This cap measures 3 inches in diameter.
Causes of a bad cap can include cracks, warping, or collapsed seals from prolonged exposure to high oven temperatures. Accidental damage during past maintenance is also possible.
