Order new transformer. What people should know is when you can't get the part from the manufacturer you should try to search other areas and try to use the numbers on the part if possible. It took Arctic King 6 weeks to tell me they don't have the part and the part I found was for a Kenmore and a match. Read more

Replaced thermistor and PC board . Not exactly sure which one fixed it but in guessing the pc board and the thermistor wasnt but $15.00 or something so we decided just to change it too .. And use a small piece of masking tape on small screws removi g the pc board and you wo t have to fight with it so much . The A/C unit was automatically switching fan modes on it's own constantly. I recently replaced the main circuit board so I figured it was the Faceplate P/C board which controls the fan speed. Unplugged the unit and hit the power button a few times to make sure no existing charge remained. Removed front faceplate, Disconnected wire to front panel.
