Description

This electronic control module generates and manages ignition spark for DSI-equipped gas ovens/ranges. Replacing a failed unit restores reliable burner lighting and can resolve issues such as no spark, repeated clicking, or the oven/broiler not igniting.

• Generates high-voltage pulses to ignite gas at the DSI electrodes
• Times and controls ignition cycles; energizes the gas valve only during commanded ignition
• Monitors flame presence through the sense circuit and may retry or lock out if ignition fails
• Common symptoms of failure: oven or broiler won't ignite/heat, no clicking/spark, intermittent ignition, or continuous clicking
• Intended for models that use direct-spark (DSI) ignition systems, not glow-bar/hot-surface igniters
