Thomas B Lutherville Timonium , MD March 25, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator GSS25PGMFWW To cold and to warm on the refrigerator side. The refrigerator side was warm so I checked resistances and found 2 of 4 thermisters bad and so replaced all of them. Then the refrigerator started freezing up so I checked the damper door and found the door broken off. I don't think the freeze broke the door but it could have. The refrigerator works better now than it has since we moved in 8 years ago. I also found the gaskets around the evaporator cover curled up into the evaporator and scorched by the defroster element. I suspect that the bad evaporator thermister caused the defroster element to overheat and differential expansion caused the gaskets to pull away from the cover and curl. Jeffrey S West Lake Village , CA October 24, 2014 Our glass shelf broke in our ge monogram refrig Checked around and the recommended BIG local parts/repair company said the part would take 7-10 business days to get and wanted $14 more than your price and you had it in stock. I ordered it on a Saturday night and it was at my door ob Tuesday afternoon. Also needed a little plastic locking piece which you also had in stock and it cost less that the local guy who'd have to order it as well. Thanks! Read More...
