Ge WB15K5068 Oven Door Handle OEM Part

I removed the screws on the top edge of the oven door to release the front panel to the back panel. I then removed the screws securing the handle in place. I screwed in the new handle (that I received in less than 24 hours from the time I placed the order, I might add!). Screwed the two panels back together and complete!

It was very easy!. Just removed the screws off the trim plate and access was right there. The double oven was given to me but the handles were missing and the end caps so I just had to replace them.

I could have fixed the handle by just replacing the handle end cap (which Appliance Parts Pros also sells). Someone had misplaced the broken off handle so I ordered the entire piece. The delivery was very fast, even with a holiday in the middle of the delivery schedule. Taking off the old and putting on the new part consisted of removing five screws: the three phillip-head screws to separate the front and back sides of the oven door; the screw on each end cap (socket screwdriver suggested). The repair would have taken under 15 minutes if I hadn't dropped one of the end cap screws in the door hinge area.

Very easy fix, sorry we waited so long to order the part and fix the problem.

Bought new one and replaced it. Excellent service on getting part.
