Gene M Glendale , AZ November 30, 2015 Appliance: Model KENMORE 665.16032403 Kenmore dishwasher would start but would not fill with water Recently my Kenmore dishwasher would start but would not fill with water. A quick test of the float switch reflected proper operation, AND voltage was being delivered TO the contact on the water inlet valve. I then removed power and checked for continuity on the contacts. This read “infinity” (Open circuit) which indicated a break in the coil inside the valve’s solenoid. As such the valve would not open to allow water to flow. I ordered the replacement water inlet valve from AppliancePartsPros. Once the part arrived I first tested it on the bench to confirm continuity and Ohm rating as spec’d by the manufacturer. The new valve metered at 1010 Ohms which was within the anticipated range. Installation of the part was quick and easy – due in large part to the videos on the AppliancePartsPros website. This was my second time ordering parts from AppliancePartsPros and once again, I was very pleased with every aspect of the order - as well the videos that assisted me in troubleshooting the problem and replacing the correct part. What most impressed me about this order was the speed in which the order was processed. I placed the order late afternoon on Tuesday November 24th and received it around the same time on Friday November 27th. I was very pleased that it arrived in only 3 days. Were it not for the fact that Thanksgiving fell on Thursday the 26th, I would have likely received it a day sooner. AppliancePartsPros will always be my first choice for parts availability, price and assistance in troubleshooting problems.
