Searching for paddles or baffles led me to Appliance Parts. Discovered I didn't have to buy anything in order to view the video which is a pretty nice feature to see if my skills are up to it. "How in the world do I repair something without external screws?" "Take the top off the machine to see if there are any mounting screws and then just smack the baffles toward the rear of the machine with a mallet to loosen and remove?" Easy, really easy. Dryer was leaving marks on clothes. Watched a video on youtube about 5 reasons why that might be happening. I did have a broken baffle on the inside of the drum that maybe was pinching the clothes as it turned. When I took the dryer a top and front off to inspect the other issues and take of the broken baffle I noticed the drum slides seemed worn as the youtube video also mentioned could be a reason. After doing quite a bit of research and asking appliancepartpros forum if I needed to add a screw when installing, and receiving the answer the next day that is was not necessary, I snapped the part in place and went on with life. Read more

Ordered parts friday at 4:30 pm installed parts by 5:30 pm saturday even though they came from Kentucky and I live in Rural Kansas. Parts just snapped in no tools required. Read more

I ordered two new baffles and 7 screws. I also ordered 6 large washers. We were running with one baffle held by only 2 of 3 screws. It appears that a repairman in the past had removed the large washers and over time, the screw heads reamed out the hole, causing the baffles to detach and break. In about 15 minutes, I was able to tighten up the existing baffle and add the two new ones. I also added the 6 big washers to help strengthen this to prevent future issues.
