After my layman's diagnosis (hope) of a bad micro switch to the ice dispenser (would not activate and dispense ice through the chute) I purchased the both the ice and water dispenser micro switches (kill two birds with one stone). Bought the fan motor that goes behind the back wall in the freezer section. Getting to it was relatively easy, though the power cord for the new motor was a lot shorter than the old one, so I had to cut the wires and splice it in - which was a little bit of a pain. Second issue was that the shaft for the new motor was longer than the old one and the fan was rubbing in the housing.
