Description

The LG lever button is an OEM replacement part responsible for enabling the dispensing of ice from the refrigerator's ice maker. This part is located on the front panel of the refrigerator ice and water dispenser area. When the ice lever actuator is pressed it activates the mechanism that dispenses ice into a glass or container.

Over time, the lever button can become worn out or damaged due to frequent use, physical impact, or accidental mishandling. If the button fails, it can hinder the functionality of the dispenser, making it difficult to obtain water or ice.

Symptoms of a bad lever button include:

The dispenser button broke.

Popped the ice/water dispenser out, and cleaned everything. Since the parts were identical repairs took less than 15 minutes.
