I was ready to scrap my $300. mixer and get another one. I thought it certainly would cost more than it was worth to send it in for repairs. Then I watched a video by AppliancePartsPros.com and saw that it may just be a worn gear. So I followed their directions on taking it apart and inspecting it. In the end, with a new coupler. But I relearned old lessons the hard way. The washer is in a rental unit and the tenant complained of no spin. My first intuition was that the coupler failed again because I bought a cheaper one elsewhere a couple of years ago and not the brand name available here at AppliancePartsPros.
