This is a mesh grease filter designed to fit inside a range vent hood. It captures grease and airborne cooking particles before they enter the ventilation system, helping keep the fan and ductwork clean. Replace this filter if it is visibly clogged with grease buildup, bent, or damaged, or if you notice reduced airflow and increased cooking odors while the hood is running.
